This oolong tea comes from the tropical high hills of Indonesia, where it undergoes an unusually high oxidation resulting in a robust dark leaf. The extra oxidation yields a tea very high in polymerized polyphenols and EGCG, antioxidants, which have shown promising results in scientific studies about weight loss.
When brewed this tea embodies the high hills of tropical Indonesia, with a smooth malty flavor and gentle amber essence. This tea is also lenient to over brewing and works great for multiple infusions. Oolong helps to balance out foods high in fat and should be consumed 30 minutes before each meal to receive maximum health benefits.
