Scenic mountains, rocky hill sides, and sunny days, make Colorado the prime location for American lavender cultivation.  The lavender plant, a relative of the mint plant, is native to the rocky hillsides of both the European and African countries touching the Mediterranean Sea.
The lavender plant has a will of its own and requires no fertilizer or pesticide to flourish.   That being said, this lavender has been organically grown in Western Colorado at over 3000 ft above sea level.   The unique geographical and weather conditions of this region
produce a highly revered lavender among connoisseurs.  When brewed Colorado Lavender will produce light color liquor with a smooth
and classic floral aroma.
